Fuel cell systems
It can also be used for a wide variety of applications in reconversion. When selecting, designing and planning the supply of fuel cells in conjunction with battery systems, factors such as environmental friendliness, flexibility (increased output), maintenance costs and operational safety must be taken into account.
We can implement the complete systems (incl. electrolyser) for you with partners.
Redox flow storage
Redox flow storage systems use liquid storage media for energy storage (vanadium ion storage). This eliminates crucial ageing mechanisms and more than 15,000 charging and discharging cycles are possible. With low maintenance requirements, the service life of redox flow storage systems is around 20 years. Their low environmental impact, high level of safety (explosion-proof and non-flammable) and reduced complexity and costs speak in favor of this storage technology.
Lithium-ion storage systems
Lithium-ion storage systems generate their electromotive force through the displacement of lithium ions. During the charging process, positively charged lithium ions move through an electrolyte from the positive electrode to the negative electrode, while the charging current supplies the electrons via the external circuit. The advantages of these energy storage devices are their high energy density, no memory effect and low self-discharge. There is a risk of fire if used incorrectly.
